Our Vision:
To encourage you to think and act differently about self-worth,
starting in your home, helping women feel unified and inspired
to create a chain reaction of strength in the community.
Mission Statement:
To reach out and strengthen you,
Uncovering the possibilities I see,
By sharing hope in what I do
I find it strengthens me.

The Retreat is a direct outreach program for
women and teens to build a self-worth support network. Participants
will have opportunities to attend an Open House, In-Home Retreat,
or Community Program which encourages new ways of thinking and
acting about self-worth. The first thing to see differently is
the constant nature of self-worth. Many people think their value
is diminished by the exterior burdens of our lives: losing a job,
body image dissatisfaction, being the victim of gossip, not feeling
beautiful enough, or not having enough friends. You'll find the
Retreat using the words "SELF-WORTH"
over self-esteem. You need to know how much you have value. Worth
does not change. It is always there. Our perception of worth,
our self-esteem can often vary. It's time to start recognizing
the potential you have and the value that is already there.
Have you ever wanted to someone to see
the best in you? The Retreat has been bringing out potential
in women and teens since 2006. See
an example of one of our newspaper articles. We have been
sharing mentoring sessions on identity, healthy body image, motherhood,
positive relationships and goal setting. Patterned after our community
outreach programs, the Retreat now teaches these topics in your
home, in a way that fits your lifestyle.
Sometimes we need to be reminded how deep our
personal value is. Sometimes we need someone to give us a chance
and see us for what we can become. Contact your local Self-Worth
Director for more information on what she can do for you. If there
are no Self-Worth Directors in your area, consider joining our
team.
